FAQ

  • Whats an LGBTQIA+ allied gym mean?

LGBTQIA stands for lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer, intersex and asexual. Every gym should be a queer friendly gym but often times the vibe of certain gyms just doesn’t feel safe or comfortable for folks. Our hope here at ISF is that everyone, no matter your sexual, ethnic or socio-economic background, will feel comfortable and welcome.

  • What if I have an injury/limitation?

Our trainers have a background in strength and conditioning for athletes so we are well versed in injury rehab and prevention! We are always safety-first when it comes to injuries and pains so you won’t ever feel pressured or nervous about exercising with whatever limitation you may have.

  • What's a package vs membership?

A package is best for those who may be away here and there.

Subscriptions save you the most money, are billed every four weeks and are best for those ready to commit to fitness!

  • What's your specialty?

At ISF our trainers have a background in working those who are brand new to strength training and have haven’t felt comfortable in their bodies- whether that be from aches and pains or something saying how our bodies should look.

  • Do you have a sliding scale option?

Yes! Our package and subscription prices are based on the current rate of personal training but we have a sliding scale for those who need it :)
